New Feature: 'Work in Progress' Blog - David Farrell 'Innocent Landscapes - The Revisits'

Source is pleased to present our first ever blog. Back in Autumn of 2001 (Issue 28) Source published a series of images by David Farrell entitled 'Innocent Landscapes'. These images followed the search for the bodies of those killed and secretly buried by the IRA - or 'the disappeared' as they would come to be known. David has been revisiting the sites where these searches took place for the past ten years and has kindly agreed to keep a blog for us which will document his intended final visits.

Normal Service has been Resumed...

Anyone who visited the site in the past day or so will have been greeted not by a dazzling array of fine-art photography-related content, but instead by a rather arcane message about Apache servers. Suffice to say our server was down, but it's fixed now. Apologies for the break in service, it pains us as much as it pains you.

Archive Technical Stuff

The observant among you may have noticed that the small selection of early back issues which were available on our 'new' archive page have disappeared. The new archive templates had to be significantly overhauled in order to accomodate the more complex content structure of later issues of the magazine. A process which has seen me up to my ears in XML and XSLT for a painfully long period of time. Issue 34 is the first of a new batch of material to use these updated templates. So the early issues will return once they've been refitted. Keep track of updates via the Archive feed.
