Often the authorship of the photographic outcome is beyond my control; emphasising the importance placed upon the actions in the work. By embracing chance and a playfulness to image making I aim to make work that is surprising both to myself and the viewer. These images have allowed me to visually reflect on my influences of late sixties and early seventies performance artists, and veer from parodying to emulating notions explored in their work.
