The Blood and the SoilThis project focuses on Geoff Thompson, the 'do it all' man at my childhood football club, Cadley FC. His official title is Club Secretary, but over his 13 years at the club he has accumulated a whole host of roles from groundsman to chairing the club meetings. On match days Geoff gets to the ground much earlier than everybody else in order to set up the pitches and changing rooms prior to the teams arrival. It's this time of solitude I wanted to capture.
