Face to Face
This series of portraits of different species of fish seeks to challenge the commonly held perception that a fish has no face. Removed from their usual context - their hidden underwater world or as protein on our plates - their individuality is revealed. The viewer is invited to meet the gaze of a sentient being, normally separated from us by surface and silence.
