ColliderscapeThe "Colliderscape" project is an attempt to represent the multiplicity and simultaneity of the urban environment. It is a reaction to the image-saturation of our visual culture, and also to the de-sensitised 'blase' individual, who insulates him/herself against this over-stimulus in order to efficiently navigate the city. While we filter out what it is we need to focus on, the camera to records this complexity in its entirety, offering it back for us to decipher. In this way I hope to draw attention to this naturally occurring multivalence, the richness of our everyday visual experience, which is usually overlooked.
