Sands of Time
The home is a personal space where the owner's personality and routines in life are represented in many ways, including the decor of the interiors or how personal collections are displayed. In most cases the owner has the freedom to develop these buildings and turn these 'shells' into a personal space. 'Sands Of Time' demonstrates the preservations of elderly people's homes and the pattern of how all these spaces seem dated yet warm and homely. Each home features an owner with touching tales of why they feel comfortable for their house to be preserved in this specific manner, including death of a loved one, economic struggles and the fear of change.
