The Brotherhood

Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest fraternal societies dating back to the late 16th century, and now exists in various forms all over the world, with a membership estimated at around 6 million. Freemasonry has always been perceived as a very secretive and male dominated society, with many conspiracy stories besmirching the crafts reputation. "The Brotherhood" is a documentary series exploring the history and symbolism of Freemasonry, but also investigates the perception that it is a highly secretive society. Within the series I have enhanced this perception by hiding the identities of the individuals within the portraits, leaving their identities a mystery.
