The Chattel
'Eleven days and a half gone and I have crossed three thousand miles of the perilous deep. Instead of a democratic government, I am under a monarchical government. This project aims to reinterpret the journey to Ireland taken by the American abolitionist, Frederick Douglass, in a bid to gain his freedom from slavery.
