Sha~man
Sha~man is a series looking at the rise of Modern Shamans in Ireland. After witnessing the dramatic decline of Christianity in Ireland over the last 10 years. I discovered a revival in pagan practices. These previously indigenous practices had flourished in Ireland and globally before the spread of Christianity and other predominant faiths. In an age where many people find themselves endlessly connected, yet disconnected, unable to decipher if they are the consumer or the consumed. A yearning to connect with the natural world, the real, and the genuine has spurred on a revival of older ways, pagan traditions. Shamanism provides methods that enable a reconnection with the natural world, promotes self-development and the healing of past mental wounds.
