Mike Horton
I have looked to certain film styles for influences to my images, I created different collages to assist in my thinking considering everything from how I wanted to shoot the images to the colours used. As I studied the works of Mayumi Hosokura I found that colour is important for conveying emotion especially in the Eastern countries, I had to take this into consideration when planning for my shoots. The reasons for shooting in this manner is for my own personal visual stimulation, when I create images I look to my own eyes for a critique and I am judge the final shot on how my emotions are found within the image.
