The Great LeapChina's thriving economy has led to a rapid development in new infrastructure. The demolition of old buildings within city centres is taking place to further modernise cities. Urban farms are being excavated and the old suburbs are being knocked down to make room for sky scrapers and high rise apartments. This series of images was photographed in three municipalities; Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing and one of the world's busiest port cities, Ningbo. The project outlines the rapid growth of these powerful cities and the theme of a constantly growing and changing China.
