Moon TimeWatling and Foster have gone through a personal process of discovering the natural rhythms that occur in both women and nature. Moon Time explores the correlations between a women's menstrual cycle and the lunar cycle; both occurring monthly every 28 days.
Both Walting and Foster visited the Gwent Levels, by the River Severn, for 28 days to create circular prints that have traces of mud imprinted onto them left behind by the sea water. The times of the visits were scheduled according to the high tide times. Each visit Watling and Foster waited for the tide to get to the moment when the water would begin to retreat back to the ocean to continue its cyclical rhythm.
