Bob Langridge

My practice is a journey through photographic processes, developing my own connections and meaning through experimenting with film and print my work explores and interprets the layers that landscapes hold, considering concepts of distance and time. "Fetch" considers what is in sight but is forever out of reach and that which is achievable but slips through one's grasp. For this I used the horizon to represent what we can see but never reach and the tide as what we can reach but slips through our grasp. "Footsteps of Ghosts" is based on hollow-ways and sunken lanes. Many have walked these routes and those that linger can feel their presence.
