We are bombarded with imagery in today's society - images that are so frequent and constant through technology and social media platforms. Within my portraits I aim to capture a stillness; a moment in time that holds a sense of calm, portraying the subject in a context that is removed from the complexity of everyday life. This series holds a selection of portraits of female subjects all of a similar age to myself, as I wanted this similarity to be present within the interaction between myself as the photographer and my subjects to further capture a sense of honesty within the portraits.
