Charlotte Hatton
Being fascinated in fairy-tale movies and books when younger, I decided to utilize this interest and construct it into a visual interpretation I envisioned, as I wanted to produce a series, which portrayed the stories of Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood; that focuses on the emotional establishment in characters. Using digital techniques, I created scenes based on forest enchantments, linking to the stories but using portraits of the characters to show the emotional state, before depicting a fantasy scene, which is based on the mind. The series I produced has relevance towards the fictional themes and fairy tales, as I wanted to create photographs that matriculate in the fantasy phenomenon, so it provokes viewer's imagination.
