Dr. Walker, a well known GP. He was retired when this image was taken. Now, regrettably, he is deceased. I was born in this house 14th Sept 1914. It was built by my grandfather Thomas Hughes in 1902. He came from Cwm Astwyth to the Rhondda in 1835 then worked in this village as a milkman, built this house & later 1904/05 went to Ffwyd Philip Farm by Bernard Francis
