http://www.bjphoto.co.uk/index.shtml
In addition to a description of the contents of the current week's journal, the BJP website features a wide variety of photographs, essays reviewing photography in the twentieth century, information on UK qualifications, and over 3000 links. It is also a slightly laborious site to negotiate as its layout is dense and its download time is occasionally slow.

http://www.camera-austria.at/
The main content of the site, in both German and English, is edited highlights of the essays published in the last six issues. There are also a few illustrative photographs and a record of the featured artists and reviews as well as information (in German) about the organisation's other projects (publications and symposia). As a representation of an established European photographic magazine, it is a useful point of reference.

Colors
http://www.benetton.com/colors/
Founded in 1991, Colors is "the magazine that talks about the rest of the world". This curious objective is achieved through vaguely issue based photographic essays stylishly presented. A brief introductory text accompanies each collection of photographs, and many images are accompanied by snippets of text. While the image quality is good, the jazzy graphics can be laborious to negotiate after a while.

Photovision
http://www.photovision.es/
The website of this Spanish magazine is rather more complicated and flashy than the limited amount of material it contains would seem to justify. Nevertheless the patient can find information about previous issues, publications and some images all of which are for sale.
