New England
The Channel tunnel is a microcosm of England's changing landscape and cultural identity in recent years. The freedom of movement facilitated by the Tunnel is creating a more Eurocentric and multi cultural nation but also one that is becoming more homogenised. The photographs depict the tension between old and new, the end of England's physical isolation from the continent, and explore mans ability to manipulate the earth to his specification and the possibilities that this creates.
