AND CARS

What are the current and potential roles of various types of photography within consumer culture? How can documentary photography acknowledge and respond to the intertwining of commercial imagery and our lives? AND CARS is an ongoing project with the overall aim of visualising the wider visual, conceptual, and physical systems connected with cars. The images presented here are taken from various series' in Part 1 of the project, which addresses existing consumer-car interfaces.
