Zihan Xie
Zihan Xie (b.2001), currently based in London, is a Chinese artist who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Public Art from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 2023. Currently pursuing a degree in Photography at the Royal College of Art, Zihan's artistic exploration revolves around three central themes: trauma, memory, and aftermath. Employing mediums such as claymation, collage, moving image, and photography, her work navigates the intricate interplay of these themes. Through the unique amalgamation of these mediums, Zihan seeks to articulate a visual language that delves into the complexities of human experience, inviting viewers to contemplate the nuances of trauma, the fragility of memory, and the profound aftermath that shapes our individual narratives.
