Time to Pretend
Time to Pretend discusses the lived experience of people within the LGBTQIA+ community. The images aim to illustrate the struggles that are faced by queer individuals as they navigate through social norms and conventions. Focusing on real-life mental health issues within the queer community, the images and video aims to bring awareness to others that there is still a need for change and acceptance within mainstream society. There is still discrimination, isolation and a struggle for those within the LGBTQIA+ community, due to social expectations. This is a call to action to acknowledge, celebrate, and uplift the diverse experiences and voices within the queer community, and to work towards a future where acceptance, understanding, and love reign supreme.
