Leave your love at the door
''Leave your love at the door'' is Chloe Payne’s project about using her experience of being involved with social services for 18 years and coming to terms with her feelings attached to this time. She uses a documentary style approach to photography and captures images around the home, using archival imagery from the beginning years with her foster family to represent the idea of the societal norm of the ideal family album. Choosing to do this because she wanted to reengage with how structured and emotionally detaching parts of being within the foster care system is and realizing this was how she felt through these adolescent years.
