UnBroken: The Feminine Homeless
'UnBroken: The Feminine Homeless' is a deeply personal project that centers on women experiencing homelessness, using photography and collage to create a space of recognition and quiet power. This project became a platform for dignity, presence, and voice. The women became visible in a world that often looks away. Through these images, my work honors resilience while creating a space of stillness, respect, and agency. Developed over two years, gaining their trust was slow and delicate, earned only through consistency, care, and listening. Ethics were central. This project was not about fixing or observing, but about witnessing, sharing space, and listening. UnBroken invites us to see these women not through the lens of lack, but through the strength of survival and the right to be heard.
