Becoming
Becoming is the artist's world lived beyond preconditioning and oppression. Exploring themes of identity, perception, and transformation, this project reflects on how subjective experience shapes the way we see the world - and ourselves. Inspired by Jack Babuscio’s concept of the gay sensibility, I engage with the idea that queerness, shaped by social oppression, also offers a unique way of seeing, one that embraces authenticity beyond imposed social norms. Becoming is a surrender to awareness, carried through and within nature, an invitation to embrace a more expansive, liberated existence, one where identity is not fixed, but constantly forming, dissolving, and emerging anew.
