Fragments of the Past
‘Fragments of the Past’ is a personal project, designed to help me, acting as my own art therapy. I open up and share some of the traumatic events from my childhood and the emotions connected to the memories, shaping who I am. Using fashion editorial photography, I am exploring specific memories and traumas. Some of these have had a long-lasting mental and physical impact for me, my family and loved ones. I hope that others can relate to this work. Being able to share this story has given me both clarity and relief. This project was made in the hope that I could help others to understand and know that they are not alone, with myself and others around them.
