Autological questions authenticity: where ‘fakeness’ is not a failure of truth, but a condition of the projects production. The work examines control both as a subject but also as methodology. Each image is deliberately constructed using simplified compositions, synthetic lighting and assertive post-production. The visual language borrows from advertising and digital display, designed to command attention. People and natural materials are situated in an environment with total aesthetic control, replacing their intrinsic qualities with artificial ones.
