Bodyline Narratives: Nature Human Connection
‘Bodyline Narratives’ is a process-led collection of cyanotypes, toned with foraged botanicals to playfully reflect our intimate bond with the natural world. Based in the Herefordshire countryside, the work utilizes walking and intuitive foraging as a creative practice, resulting in a seasonal body of work that embraces the slowness of environmental engagement. Guided by the philosophy “as above, so below,” the collection explores immersive visual comparisons between humans and their environment. This is achieved through both physical presence (bodies in the landscape) and material alchemy (plants within the prints). By rooting the human form into the land through a sense of feral play, these pieces invite us to re-examine our wild selves and reclaim our connection to the living world.
