I’m Lost in A Strange Pocket of Space and Time
My Images have a focus on the surreal, the uncanny and liminal space. I have been developing a universe of sorts for the last two years. Which involves these autonomous creatures that take a humanoid form. They are part of a greater power. Empty soldiers that all share the same mind. A very frightening account of mitosis. They are inquisitive creatures trying to assimilate with humanity. Their intentions are unclear, but it is suspected to be sinister. My most recent project focuses on Jack Valentine, A local to me, Norfolk Folklore Legend, who brings ‘gifts’ on Valentine’s Day. My narrative tells a horrific version of his alternate, ‘Snatch Valentine’, who leaves boobytraps like pulling gifts away on string.
