Memento Mori, Memento Vivere
'Memento Mori, Memento Vivere' explores the idea that life and death are universal experiences that should connect humanity rather than divide us. Drawing on religious and philosophical symbolism, the project creates a contemplative space where viewers are invited to reflect on their own memories and emotional responses. The integration of metal into the project uses its reflective nature to construct the liminal space between life and death. Drawing from her own battle with loss whilst welcoming a new life into the world, Isaacson presents an alternative perspective of everyday life, reminding us to appreciate the beauty of our environment whilst taking us on a journey of emotional resonance, ultimately leaving us questioning the title, 'Remember to Die, Remember to Live'.
