This project documents a three month period in early 2026, when I left Dublin and moved back in with my parents in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan for the first time in over a decade. Living in my childhood home again in my 30s brought with it a feeling of being somewhat alien, things feeling at once familiar and strange. I had the sense that this temporary upheaval in my life was giving me an opportunity to see my parents, their life together and their idiosyncrasies through a new perspective. I wanted to create a record of this time with my parents, knowing that it may be the last time we all live together.
