ReRoot ii
‘ReRoot ii’ is a project which deep dives into my personal relationship with nature, shaped by growing up in urban environments. The work investigates how my perception of organic spaces has transformed over time, from a childhood experience rooted in imagination and immersion, to a more distanced and critical awareness in adulthood. Rather than focusing on a broader generational experience, the project is grounded in my own experience. It reflects the difficulty of encountering landscapes that feel completely untouched by human presence and the growing awareness of how rare it is to find these spaces without artificial structures of tracings. Through each photograph, the project investigates both physical and psychological contrasts: The tension between nature and artificiality, and the separation between my past and present self.
