As I Lay Dying, William Faulkner (1930) / Dubliners, James Joyce (1914) / The French Lieutenant’s Woman, John Fowles (1969)

I’ve chosen three books that I first encountered, and fell in love with when I was in my teens. None of them deals specifically with photography, but something about the spirit of each one has endured as an inspiration in my life, and in my work – and therefore in the way I think about photography.
