Jessica Wicker
This series of landscapes is based on the perception of the photograph as a visual field, separate to that of the images in front of the camera. The images suggest layers of flat surfaces, with a lack of depth that does not entirely abstract the image - these are still visibly landscapes - but allows the eye to move beyond the subject and consider the colour and form of the two dimensional field.
