Polaroids
'Polaroids' consists of 120 Polaroid's which have all been manipulated by hand - pushing the emulsion and activating it through extreme heat and light. I am interested in photography as a medium and my project focuses on the photographic process itself. The chemical reaction between the photographic emulsion and daylight is unpredictable, meaning that my work relies heavily on chance. I wanted to gain some method of control so I decided that labeling each Polaroid by the code on each pack and position from 1-8 would create a sense of uniformity to the work.
