Crafting the Source
On the inside, an identity is a disjointed, fleeting thing. At best identites are fragmented, and at worst, contradictary and conflicted. But on the outside, for some people, they are so definitive, so explict, that the complexity becomes simplified into a ritual of creation. In particular, I chose to focus on the process by which Clowns create their personas, the ritual of crafting the source of their definitive, unfragmented - though temporary- identity.
