I keep looking for him. I think I always will.
John's work considers the disjunctures of memory, especially as it relates to familial circumstance. In this particular work "I keep looking for him. I think I always will" he investigates the historical relationship between father and son from a distant perspective separated by over twenty years and in a place alien to both. Conscious that both memory and the photographic image are constructed and often unreliable fictions, the work is a clear partial view to the past and one that seeks to uncover questions about that relationship.
