I Sing the Body Electric
I Sing the Body Electric is a meditation on Walt Whitman's poetry and his life-long fascination with the ethereal energy that emanates from the physical body. His intricate and eccentric understanding of the importance of bodily sensations and their equivalence to the idea of the soul ties with the action of taking photographs. While meandering between reading the world around us metaphorically, on the level of intellect, it is important to simultaneously observe the rawness of its flesh and react to it instinctively. Somewhere between order and chaos, there is electric stillness.
