Stacey Walmsley
Stacey Walmsley is a documentary photographer whose work explores the theme of childhood and motherhood. Stacey’s ongoing photographs are generated from both traditional and modern narratives. Stacey captures sensitive and intimate moments with her daughter from her own perspective as a mother. Stacey’s work conveys this by telling a story and creating a visual metaphor. A sense of ‘touch’ is the essence to Stacey’s pictures. Within Stacey’s photographs, moments become transformed through recollections evoking personal experiences and memories in others.
