Bernadette Fahy
Through
Through considers the notions of trace and memory in relation to the external. Portraying my childhood home as it is but also simultaneously how it was. Showing the extent that time plays on what I know and how this affects the external itself. The series intends to depict the attachment that memories can make to the material and how this alters the way we view the subject. Whereby this over time can be covered and concealed, yet still has pertinence to resist and remain underneath like a fragment of what once was.
