Jeremy Webb
As a photographer and a transhuman, my current practice revolves around the notions of technology, humanity and is an attempt to bridge the ever-closing gap between the two worlds. This current piece has been solely photographed in a studio. As a film fanatic my work is heavily influenced by this. With movies such as Bladerunner & I-Robot as well as TV series such as Black Mirror and a photographer named Matthieu Gafsou and his piece H+, which focuses on transhumanism and people that modify their bodies with technology to give themselves a better life. I will be continuing this project post-graduation while simultaneously bettering my photographic skills to create higher quality images and more personal pieces.
