Grassroots
Football has been lifelong passion of mine and a large part of my childhood. From the age of four I have always played football, even though it was hard finding any all-girls teams. With the increasing public interest in women’s football, it has become more common to see girls participating in football events and creating teams of their own. This increase in passion has led me to start the project ‘Grassroots’, where I have been working alongside an all girl team; The Dale Park Panthers. This series documents their journey as a team and the ever changing community of football and it shows what being part of a team really means.
