A challenging and thought provoking exploration of what death looks like; confront my fears of death through the medium of insects and the realisation that death has a certain beauty. This Major Project has a metaphorical reference to the fears of death and the personal loss of my daughter, this symbolic reference has a psychological turning point as death becomes an acceptance by exposing my own emotions through this tragic process. Technically and mindfully the work was challenging. The idea was to face death through photography exposing all the detail that the eye cannot see.
