Samme Hancock
Hi my name is Samme Hancock. This body of work I created in 2010 however I have not given this piece of work a title as I would like the viewer to think what it might be about .This project to reach out to people of the condition called 'bipolar disorder.' This condition affects your moods which can swing one extreme to another, there are two main moods which are depression and mania both are extreme and gets in the way of day to day activities. Photographers who helped inspire me were Penny Klepuszewska, Sarah Jones, Hannah Starkey and Cindy Sherman. From these photographers I mainly looked from the style of how they captured their own photographs.
