Coventry
Coventry as the new modern city grew out of the rubble of the 14th November 1940 blitz. It was one of the first new cities of the future built on the back of the British motor industry but with a precinct designed for the pedestrian. But with the collapse of the motor industry the modern city dream faded and is now being redeveloped to become a new every town. These images are part of an ongoing project recording my hometown, now from a distance, as it changes and decipher past memories from myth.
