Cat Egerton
Decayadence
This body of work is an investigation in to the process of the decay of meat; various parts of different animals have been used to document the changes. While undertaking this project I found an unusual beauty in the objects which many people might often find repulsive. My aim is to suggest that perhaps beauty resides in objects and things previously thought not to be so. The photographs detached from the real subject, provide an aesthetic distance.
