An Invaluable PlaceMy work is variable and I enjoy many types of photography. This is a documentary project which was developed from observing local allotments. It became a broad overview noticing the unnoticed. It was very interesting to discover the objects that make them what they are. The British hobby to many is just a vegetable patch, but to allotment holders it's a home from home. Allotments are becoming small communities and owners build highly individualistic outbuildings primarily through recycled objects. They become a place for people to relax and escape the hustle and bustle.
