Handing It On
This series of environmental portraits aims to portray the lives of the sons and daughters of today's farmers. The ones who chose not to stay at home and farm but chose to carve their own path in life, a path that inevitably would return to run parallel with the land. This generation of sons and daughters; an army captain, architectural designer, bartender, carpenter and prison officer struggle to balance full-time and part-time careers with working on the family farm. They've returned or remained close by to help elderly parents, or to carry on the legacy of parents who have passed on, coming to realise the importance of the land being farmed by the family and the significance of handing it on.
