Curtin Court
My series 'Curtin Court' is a body of work that comprises of 3 different elements, those being, portraits, landscapes, and text. In this series, I was interested in exploring my father's childhood, particularly one story that he has told me many times before which I felt best summed up his childhood. As the series progressed it helped me understand my connection to the place which has formed a large part of my identity in which I have never truly explored before. Along with identity this work explores place, memory, truth and friendship.
