When I was little
Remembering the horrigust and scrumdiddlyumptious foods of Roald Dahl. Often celebrated as one of the best children’s authors of the 20th century, Roald Dahl has been a household name across Britain for children and adults alike for over 70 years. Selling over 250 million books since his debut. Dahl’s stories detailing the victories of the child underdog, have dominated children’s literature. Roald Dahl used food as a plot device, not only to establish characters but also to punish or reward them based on their behaviour. ‘When I was little...’ is an ongoing project looking to celebrate the culinary creations of Dahl that have surrounded British childhood for over half a century, by recreating scenes through the use of miniature sets.
