Lai Po Kan
The Mortal Sickness of a Mind
This is a photography project about my feelings towards my childhood and missing people cases happened in our society. Someone was missing during my childhood. I was always wishing this person was there when I was a kid. It can happen to anybody who has the sad adolescence because of the bad relationship between family members. That person could be a father figure or a mother figure to a child, who is the important role and the moral model for the growing up of a child. Moreover, there were many cases of missing people and suicide in our society, which should not be ignored. It is a constructed story to reveal my unrecoverable scar. These emotions will never go away.
